Birthday Celebrations at The Shard - Gong Bar

I recently celebrated my 21st birthday in the Gong Bar which is based on the 52nd Floor in The Shard .

I cannot even put into words how amazing the views are from the bar. We had a window seat overlooking London Bridge and the Tower Bridge. We sat down early evening (when we finally arrived - we had an absolute nightmare of an hour before hand which we can only look back on and laugh at but I'll tell you about that in another post) and watched the amazing sun set from the 52nd Floor in one of the tallest buildings in Europe!

London is beautiful anyway let alone from the height we were at. Watching London light up all around us was just amazing.

The cocktails are SO good and were washed down a right treat! We had all sorts ranging from Strawberry Daiquiris to Champagne and Strawberries on ice. Absolute 10/10 for cocktail making from the barmen.

The service is just excellent and they certainly make sure you are never without - they even treated me to some macaroons as a 'happy birthday' gift.

This is definitely my favourite drinking spot in London now offering an elegant ambience which created a perfect night for me.
